F.A.Q.1. How quickly will I get my vehicle in for reqairs? If your vehicle is going through insurance for repairs and is driveable, the insurance company requires us to order your parts, then schedule you in for repairs once the parts have arrived. 2. Does the Coyle Collision Center work with most insurance companies? Yes. We are direct repair with State Farm, Farm Bureau, USAA and American National Property & Casuality. However, we will work with any insurance company. Some insurance companies write their own estimates and in that case we would go off of their estimate. 3. What kind of parts does the Coyle Collision center use? We can use OEM, aftermarket, and LKQ (or used) parts. If it is an insurance job for Indiana, the law sates that if a vehicle is 7 years or older, the insurance company does not have to put new (OEM) parts on your vehicle if LKQ or aftermarket parts are available. This year, 2006, the cut off date for new parts is 2000. If your vehicle is 2000 or newer the insurance company will put new parts on. 4. Can I get a rental car? If your collision needs are going through your own insurance, you will neeed to check and see if you purchased rental coverage on your policy. If you are the claimant, (the other person's insurance is paying) that insurance company will heve to pay for a rental car once your vehicle is in the shop. We certainly will help you with scheduling a rental car. 5. How long will it take to repair my vehicle? The time required to repair your vehicle will depend on the severity of the damage to your vehicle. When we write an estimate, average time for repairs is based on the number of hours the estimate shows to repair your vehicle. We take the number of hours and divide by 5 to come up with the number of days needed to repair. However, once your vehicle is torn down, we could find more damage and have to order more parts, etc. which could extend your time in the collision center. When writing an original estimate, you can only write what your actually see. There are lots of hidden parts on your vehicle that can not be seen until taken apart and if we find anything additional, we would write that up as a suppliment. Then we would contact you and your insurance to let let you know there will be more time needed. |
